Database administrator Oracle Senior (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Administrator (m/f/d) with extensive experience in the administration of large Oracle database landscapes and specialisation in highly available systems, especially Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC). The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of migration, installation, backup/recovery, monitoring and performance optimisation. Advanced skills in Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Data Guard, SQL/PLSQL and extensive experience in incident and change management are also desirable. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is considered valuable.

These tasks await you with us

  • Operation of Oracle databases
  • Error analysis and troubleshooting
  • Performance analyses and tuning
  • Implementation of backup and recovery strategies
  • Updates and upgrades of Oracle servers and databases
  • Incident, problem and change management

What you bring with you

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the operation of large database structures
  • Experience in the operation of highly available database environments (Oracle RAC)
  • Very good expertise in the areas of migration, installation, backup/recovery, monitoring and performance tuning
  • Experience in working with Oracle RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Dataguard
  • Application-ready knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL
  • Experience in incident and change management
  • Nice to have: Certification (e.g. OCP)
  • Very good knowledge of German (at least C1)
