We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator (m/f/d) who has extensive expertise in the installation, configuration and management of Linux server landscapes. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of network security, in-depth experience with various Linux distributions and the ability to design and implement innovative and efficient solution strategies for complex system challenges in a rapidly changing IT landscape.
These tasks await you with us
- Operation and maintenance of Linux/UNIX systems
- Design and administration of complex IT infrastructures
- Automation of administration and processes through scripting
- (Partial) project management
What you bring with you
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Linux administration
- Ideally, you can underpin your expertise with an LPIC certification
- Sound knowledge of SuSe Enterprise Server and/or Linux RedHat
- Extensive knowledge of networking (load balancing / firewall / reverse proxy)
- Experience in the operation of monitoring solutions such as Nagios
- Knowledge in one of the following areas is desirable
- Automation (Ansible, Puppet) and scripting
- Cloud (AWS, Azure, …)
- Container solutions (Docker)
- Database systems (MySQL, MariaDB)
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1)
