We are looking for a technically skilled professional to manage our Windows and/or Linux environments. You should have up-to-date expertise in Windows and/or Linux operating systems and experience in the field of network infrastructures. Your ability to resolve IT-related incidents and your knowledge of collaboration and meeting solutions such as Office 365 and MS Teams are of great importance. Very good German language skills (min. C1) are required for this position.
Your New Area of Responsibility
- Support and administration of Windows and/or Linux systems within the scope of 2nd level support
- Analysis, handling, and resolution of technical incidents in the IT infrastructure, including networks and server systems
- Assistance with the planning, implementation, and further development of system and network architectures for a stable and efficient IT environment
- Conducting root cause analyses and developing sustainable solutions to ensure smooth operations
- Collaboration with 1st level support for efficient escalation and handling of more complex issues
- Supporting 3rd level support with the implementation of new technologies and the resolution of escalations
- Contributing to the documentation and optimization of IT processes as well as the creation of operational manuals
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Windows and/or Linux environments using common monitoring tools
- Implementation and maintenance of security policies, including regular updates and patches for managed systems
- Supporting projects to further develop the IT environment, such as rollouts, migrations, or automation initiatives

- Network technologies and protocols (e.g. DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN)
- Documentation and process management tools such as Confluence, Jira, and draw.io
- Ticketing systems such as Remedy, SDP, and comparable solutions
- Cloud technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) for hybrid environments
- Scripting languages for automation such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
