We are looking for a DevOps Specialist with initial professional experience to efficiently manage our server environments, particularly under Linux. Ideally, you bring experience in cloud solutions (Google Cloud, AWS, MS Azure), virtualization, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tasks. Solid knowledge in at least one programming or scripting language and very good German language skills (min. C1 level) complete your profile.
Your New Area of Responsibility
- Operation and further development of cloud environments with a focus on stability and future-readiness
- Design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for efficient automation of build, test, and deployment processes
- Identification of vulnerabilities in systems and infrastructures as well as implementation of effective solutions
- Acting as the interface between developers and administrators to promote smooth collaboration
- Continuous monitoring of systems for early detection of issues and ensuring high availability
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for better knowledge sharing and transparency
- Implementation of security measures to comply with compliance and security requirements in the cloud environment
- Evaluation and integration of new technologies to further develop the existing system landscape
Technologies in Use
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are used for operations and further development
- Configuration management is handled with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Chef
- Container orchestration is carried out using Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
- CI/CD pipelines are designed and optimized using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
- Monitoring and logging are performed with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Datadog
- Security standards are maintained using technologies such as HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, and IAM (Identity and Access Management)
- Version control is handled with Git in combination with platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket
- Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell are used for automation tasks
- High-availability databases are operated with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Network configuration and monitoring are carried out using nginx, HAProxy, and pfSense
- Security analyses and vulnerability management are conducted with OWASP ZAP, Nessus, and Burp Suite
