We are looking for an IT security professional with initial experience and solid knowledge in cryptography and IT baseline protection. Your profile should include an overview of BSI technical guidelines as well as knowledge in applying security- and safety-relevant standards such as ISO26262, ISO27001, and IEC61508. Experience with common network technologies and very good German language skills (min. C1) are also required for this position.
Your New Area of Responsibility
- Development of data protection and security concepts
- Advising customers on security matters
- Defining security requirements for customers from both the private and public sectors
Technologies in Use
- Use of SIEM solutions such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or Elastic Security for monitoring and analyzing security-relevant events
- Use of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems such as Microsoft Defender for identifying and mitigating threats
- Implementation and management of firewalls, VPNs, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and other network security solutions
- Application of penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Nessus, or Burp Suite for vulnerability analysis and remediation
- Integration and management of Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) and certificate services to ensure authentication and encryption
- Conducting security assessments and evaluations based on standards such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, or NIST
- Automation of security processes using SOAR platforms (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response)
- Creation and analysis of security audits and reports for the continuous optimization of the security infrastructure
- Use of vulnerability management tools such as Qualys or Tenable for proactive vulnerability remediation
- Implementation and management of policies and security solutions for cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
