IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

To strengthen our teams, we are looking for an IT Senior PMO (m/f/d) with a focus on reporting, controlling & process management, who takes responsibility in demanding large-scale IT projects – particularly in the public sector – and ensures transparency and manageability at programme and portfolio level.

What we expect

Professional requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in a PMO environment or project controlling, ideally in large IT projects in the public sector
  • Sound knowledge of project-related reporting and controlling (KPI analysis, forecasts, budget and resource management)
  • Experience in analysing project-critical KPIs as well as deriving and tracking measures at programme or portfolio level
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint, ideally supplemented by Power BI or comparable reporting tools
  • Experience in the further development of PMO structures, project standards, documentation structures, and governance processes
  • Knowledge of risk, resource, and dependency management in complex IT landscapes

Required certifications (at least one of the following)

  • ITIL 4 Foundation
  • PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner
  • PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I)
  • IPMA certification (Level D or higher)
  • Alternatively, comparable recognised project management or controlling certifications

Personal requirements

  • Structured, analytical, and highly self-responsible working style
  • High degree of organisational skills and quality awareness
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including at management level
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly
